Menachem Kidron (CEO)

Mr. Kidron holds an B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technion Isreal Institute of Technology. He completed executive management programs at Tel Aviv University and at the Technion, as well as governmental certification for managing companies. He is a member of the AIAA and IAA.

He served as a senior executive with extensive experience in the aerospace, defense, and space sectors. Mr. Kidron served as the Director General of the Israel Space Agency (2012–2016), where he oversaw Israel’s civilian space activities, advanced international cooperation with leading space agencies, initiated and supported academic and industrial R&D programs, and represented Israel in major international organizations including the IAF, and IAA.

He spent 40 years at Rafael – Advanced Defense Systems and served in a range of senior leadership roles, including Executive Vice President and General director of the Manor Division, which is the major source in Israel for Rocket Motors, Warheads and additional products. In this role he had full responsibility for R&D, engineering, production, marketing, business development, and operational infrastructures. Earlier positions included Head of the Space Systems Directorate, Director of Propulsion Systems and Head of Solid Propellant R&D.

He also served as a strategic advisor to the Asher Space Research Institute of the Technion on entry into nano-satellite activities

Since 2019, he is the CEO of Powder Fuels Ltd.
